Fashion books may be a dime a dozen today, but the ones that are truly memorable should be regarded as icons in their own right.

This can be said for LOEWE‘s self-published, phonebook-sized Past, Present, Future‘, which was launched in conjunction to the opening of Casa Loewe in Madrid on November 17th, 2016.

Edited by esteemed fashion magazine publisher Luis Venegas, the 600-page-book reveals hundreds of stunning images from the LVMH-owned, Spanish luxury brand’s 170 years of storied heritage. It chronicles significant moments from its past (the archive), and encapsulates them in a flexible trajectory, with the current visual language led by the 32-year-old Jonathan Anderson, who is the brand’s creative director, setting the tone for the future of LOEWE.

These include past campaigns and editorials from the likes of Steven Meisel, as well as images of artefacts and artworks from artists such as Britain’s Anthea Hamilton and John Allen
